This week's StoxEurope deep-dive takes UCB SA/NV (UCB, Euronext Brussels) — a Belgian biopharmaceutical company that develops and sells
medicines for people with severe immunological and neurological diseases — through the StoxEurope Valuation Standard.
On 22 October 2026 UCB raised its 2026 guidance for the third time this
year: revenue growth "in the low twenties" and adjusted EBITDA growth
"in the low- to mid-forties", both at constant exchange rates. The share
closed at €213,00 on 21 October and at €259,10 on 22 October. UCB guides
one year at a time, so our deep-dive asks one question: what is the business worth if the 2026 margin holds?
The StoxEurope estimate
The StoxEurope estimate is €232,56 per share on 28 October 2026. It
comes from the primary model — the discounted cash flow of the whole
business.
Across the three modelled scenarios the primary model gives €181,12 to
€297,58: the guidance at its low end, then the margin back to 2025; the
guidance, then held; or the guidance at constant exchange rates, on
UCB's own base. Those are three modelled scenarios, not a statistical
confidence interval.
The share price on 28 October 2026 was €270,50. The article also reads
the same forecast under two other conventions, free cash flow to equity
and the payout model; they are never averaged in.

Three assumptions behind it
2026 sales grow 16,5 %: UCB's "low twenties" less the currency gap of the first half. The operating margin is then held at 28,99 % in every forecast year. Neurona, Candid and IMIDomics are counted at the €2.227 m UCB paid.
The discount rate is 7,24 %, with a beta of 0,77, halfway between UCB's own measured beta of 0,46 and the industry figure of 1,08. On the industry figure alone the estimate would be €43,77 a share lower; on UCB's own beta alone, €68,06 higher.

Each test changes the condition it names, all other inputs stay at base. We have not tested combinations of smaller changes. This is not a statement of what investors believe.
The uncertainty that matters most
Our base holds an operating margin of 28,99 % from 2026. UCB guides 2026
only; its 2026 results on 25 February 2027 are the first full-year test.
About three quarters of the value comes from after 2030.
